Prior to joining PIMCO in 2013, he co-managed a long/short Latin America equities portfolio at CQS. Previously, he was a principal and emerging markets macro strategist at Altima Partners and an equities strategist at Morgan Stanley. He has 26 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. He received an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
