Based in Hong Kong, she is responsible for driving the firm’s strategic plans for the region and leading a team of investment professionals to deliver asset allocation, alternatives and customized portfolio solutions to institutional investors and wealth management distribution partners. Ms. Yin also serves on the firm’s Asia Pacific New Product Business Review Committee and is a responsible officer for PIMCO Asia Ltd. Previously, she was a global product manager at PIMCO's Newport Beach office, specializing in global macro and multi-sector fixed income portfolios across developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, she was a manager at Capital One’s strategic finance group in the Washington DC area, working with senior executives on specialty finance mergers and acquisitions and bank capital strategies, including co-authoring a Basel II industry paper with the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. She has 18 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. She received her undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
